VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

The Cleveland City School System is accepting applications for the position of Cleveland Middle School Teacher and Head Football Coach.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve in all areas involved in being a middle school staff member and coordinating a middle school football program.

QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants must have a valid Tennessee teaching certificate with the proper endorsements for teaching in a middle school and meet the Federal No Child Left Behind definition for being "highly qualified" in their endorsed area, if it applies. Must also have previous experience coaching football in a school setting.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve in all areas involved in being a high school teacher and staff member. Applicants must have an understanding of programming, computer architecture, and network architecture with a minimum of 5 years work experience in web page design.

QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants must have a valid Tennessee teaching certificate or be willing to work toward proper endorsement for teaching web page design. Applicants must also have a minimum of 5 years work experience in web page design.

The Cleveland City School System is accepting applications for the position of SECONDARY READING SPECIALIST TEACHER.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as a Reading Specialist in grades 9-12, diagnosing and planning reading remediation for students.

QUALIFICATIONS

Applicant must have a valid Tennessee teaching certificate with an endorsement as a Reading Specialist (486). Applicant will develop a program for reading remediation in grades 9-12. Prefer prior experience in diagnostic testing and remediation for secondary students.
