Dalton High School (from Cleveland Bypass)
Dalton, GA

Travel Time: Approximately 45 minutes

  1. South on Dalton Pike to North by-pass( sign will read to I-75)
    Approximately 24.5 miles from the red light in front of Walmart
  2. Turn right(west)- stay on North by Pass for approximately 2 miles.
  3. Turn left on Shuggart Rd. (a Racetrack gas station is on the left).
    travel approximately 1 mile on Shuggart Rd.
  4. Turn left on Waugh Street. Go up hill and just over crest
  5. Turn right on Manly Street. This road loops Dalton High School
  6. Turn left into main entrance for the high school.
    The pool is in the very back overlookingthe track and practice football field.

Tennessee School for the Deaf
Knoxville, TN

Travel Time: 1 hour 20 minutes (from exit 25 on I-75)

  1. I-75 North merges with I-40 East about 12 miles west of Knoxville
  2. Exit I-40 at exit 388A, James White Parkway
  3. Stay on James White Parkway and cross the South Knoxville Bridge.
  4. At the end of the South Knoxville Bridge, take the Sevier Avenue exit and stay to the right.
  5. Turn right onto Sevier Avenue at the end of the exit.
  6. Just after the railroad tracks, turn to the right onto Island Home Avenue.
  7. At the end of Island Home Avenue, just past the petroleum storage tanks, there are two stone columns. Drive between the columns onto Maplewood.
  8. Turn right at the first road to the right.
  9. Go about one block and turn left onto Island Home Boulevard.
  10. The entrance to the school is at the end of the boulevard.
  11. The pool is in the large building right next to the parking lot.

Travel Time: approximately 50 minutes

  1. I-75 South to I-24West.
  2. I-24 West to exit 178 (U.S. 27 North)
  3. After Crossing Tennessee River, Taker 5th exit (U.S. 127 Signal Mountain)
  4. Proceed under the overpass, moving to the left turn lane after the second traffic light
  5. Left at third light, into the main Entrance. (across from Citgo Conveniece store)
  6. Follow school driveway to guard house. The pool is in the athleltic building to the right

From Knoxville: take 1-75 south to exit 25 (exit speed 25 mph)
at the bottom of the exit ramp take a right and go under interstate
travel through four intersections with traffic lights
@ fifth light take a right on Ocoee Street.
travel approximately 2 miles, take a right on Central Street
go three blocks, take a right onto Oak Street.
The pool entrance and parking lot are just past the building on the right.
