Bob Pritchard is the Principal of Cleveland High School (CHS) in Cleveland, Tennessee, within the Cleveland City Schools district. He has deep roots in the community, having been born and raised in Cleveland. Bob's educational journey began at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC), where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education with a focus on mathematics. He furthered his academic pursuits by obtaining a Master's degree and an Educational Specialist degree from Lincoln Memorial University.
Bob's career in education spans over two decades. After graduating from UTC, he taught mathematics in Georgia for ten years while still residing in Cleveland. In 2009, he joined Cleveland City Schools, where he has served in various roles over the past eleven years. His roles within the district include secondary math teacher, High School instruction facilitator, Assistant Principal at Mayfield Elementary, and Assistant Principal at Cleveland High School.
As Principal, he brings his wealth of experience, knowledge, and familiarity with the community to lead and support the students and staff of CHS. With his background in mathematics education and his diverse educational experience, Bob is dedicated to fostering an environment that promotes academic excellence, personal growth, and a strong sense of community within Cleveland High School.
David Turner
Assistant Principal
David Turner is the Assistant Principal of Cleveland High School (CHS) in Cleveland, Tennessee. He serves as the assistant principal for the 11th grade, playing a crucial role in supporting the academic and personal development of junior students.
Mr. Turner's journey at Cleveland High School began in 2016 when he was hired as the school's Athletic Director. Prior to joining CHS, he served as the Principal at Copper Basin High School from 2014. During his time at Copper Basin, Mr. Turner also worked as an assistant principal for three years with athletic responsibilities for both the high school and middle school. He made significant contributions to the school by initiating the middle school football, softball, and cheerleading programs.
Mr. Turner is a graduate of Tennessee Technological University and Lee University. Before transitioning into the field of education, he worked for Eaton Corporation and Duracell. Mr. Turner's teaching career began at Bradley Central High School, where he taught for five years.
Outside of his professional responsibilities, Mr. Turner prioritizes his children. He has 2 children Zach and Allison. Zach is a senior at Washington University in St. Louis and Allison is a senior at Cleveland High School.
As the 11th-grade Assistant Principal at Cleveland High School, David Turner brings a wealth of experience, a passion for education, and a dedication to student success. His role in supporting and guiding junior students through their academic journey is vital in helping them thrive and prepare for their future endeavors.
Dr. Hilary Reid

Dr. Hilary Reid is the Assistant Principal of Cleveland High School (CHS) in Cleveland, Tennessee. Dr. Reid has deep roots in the community, as she was born and raised in Cleveland. Her connection to CHS goes back to her childhood, as her mother began teaching at the school as the Choir Teacher in 1996. Dr. Reid herself attended Cleveland Middle School and Cleveland High School, graduating as a Raider Scholar in 2004.
Dr. Reid pursued her higher education at Lee University, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and a Master of Arts in Teaching. She continued her academic journey by earning an EdD in Educational Leadership from Northcentral University.
Since 2014, Dr. Reid has been an integral part of Cleveland City Schools (CCS). She started her career in the district as a History Teacher and later served as a BLADE Facilitator (Blended Learning and Digital Education) before assuming the role of Assistant Principal of Intervention.
In July 2021, Dr. Reid took on the position of Assistant Principal at Cleveland High School. Her diverse educational background, combined with her experience within the district, equips her to effectively support the school community in her new role.
Dr. Reid's commitment to education and her outstanding contributions have been recognized through awards and accolades. She was honored as the CHS Teacher of the Year in 2018, reflecting her dedication and excellence in the field of education.

Karen Hall is the Assistant Principal of Cleveland High School (CHS) in Cleveland, Tennessee. She has an impressive educational background and a longstanding connection to the school and community.
Mrs. Hall obtained a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Tennessee. She furthered her education at Carson-Newman University, earning a Master in the Art of Teaching. She continued her pursuit of academic excellence by obtaining an Education Specialist Degree in Instructional Leadership from Lincoln Memorial University.
In 2023, Mrs. Hall received recognition for her outstanding contributions to education when she was selected as the East Region Assistant Principal of the Year by the Tennessee Association of Secondary School Principals. This award reflects her dedication and effectiveness in her role as Assistant Principal.
Mrs. Hall's journey at Cleveland High School has been extensive. She became the Assistant Principal over 9th grade in 2020, playing a crucial role in the success and support of the freshman students. She is considered a CHS Hall of Famer and a true Blue Raider, exemplifying her deep connection to the school. Prior to her current role, she served as an Instructional Facilitator at CHS and as Assistant Athletic Director. With over 25 years of experience, Mrs. Hall has dedicated her career to Cleveland City Schools.
As a proud graduate of Cleveland High School, Mrs. Hall's commitment to her alma mater is evident. Her contributions and impact were recognized in 2014 when she was inducted into the Cleveland High Alumni Hall of Fame. Notably, Mrs. Hall received a full scholarship to the University of Tennessee Knoxville to serve as a manager for Pat Summitt and the Lady Vols, highlighting her strong dedication to athletics and teamwork.

Dr. Eric Garner is the Assistant Principal of Cleveland High School (CHS) in Cleveland, Tennessee. Originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee, Dr. Garner has a strong educational background and a passion for leadership in education.
Dr. Garner holds a Doctorate of Education in Administration and Leadership from Carson-Newman University. He began his academic journey at Middle Tennessee State University, where he earned his undergraduate degree in Finance. He furthered his education at Lee University, obtaining a Master of Education degree. Dr. Garner continued his pursuit of advanced degrees at Carson-Newman University, earning an Educational Specialist degree and ultimately completing his Doctorate of Education.
Dr. Garner's career within Cleveland City Schools (CCS) spans several years. He initially joined the district at Cleveland Middle School, where he worked from 2012 to 2014. After a period away from CCS, he returned to the district and took on a role at Cleveland High School in 2020. In 2022, Dr. Garner assumed the position of Assistant Principal at CHS, where he utilizes his expertise and leadership skills to support the school community.
With his diverse educational background and experience in various educational institutions, Dr. Garner brings a unique perspective to his role as Assistant Principal. His focus on educational administration and leadership, combined with his commitment to student success, contributes to the overall positive learning environment at Cleveland High School.

Donald Benton

Mr. Donald Benton is Assistant Principal at Cleveland High School CHS).
With 18 years of experience in education, Mr. Benton brings a wealth of knowledge and a diverse background to the Cleveland High School community. Since joining the school in 2021, he has served in various leadership capacities, including Operations Coordinator and most recently, BLADE Facilitator. His dedication to student success and innovative approach to teaching have earned him recognition among staff and students alike.
Before becoming a Blue Raider, Mr. Benton was the Band Director at Walker Valley High School, where he managed more than 200 students. His experience in leading large groups and his commitment to ensuring every student has the opportunity to succeed positioned him as a top candidate for the Assistant Principal role.
In his new role, Mr. Benton will work closely with the school administration, faculty, and staff to enhance the educational experience for all students. His responsibilities will include curriculum development, student discipline, and fostering a positive school culture that values diversity and inclusivity.
