Cleveland City Schools will be closed on Friday, March 29th. Staff will participate in professional development on Monday, April 1st. Students will not attend school on this day. We hope you have a wonderful weekend!

It has been an exciting week for Kindergarten! They went to the Chattanooga zoo for a field trip and created Mayflowers in an experiment. They were so excited for both and did amazing! We are so proud of them and how they showed the Arnold WAY!

Don't forget that our Spirit Wear store closes at midnight on 3/31! Send in those orders and get some final points for your class! PTO March Madness winners will be announced on Tuesday, April 2nd. Also, if you are ordering for more than 1 class please don't make separate orders. Mrs. Melton's ELL class has been learning all about matter and how it changes. They made rainbow density jars to see their learning in action!

Former Arnold students, and current CHS seniors, Ryan Marino and Braiden Camacho-Albores, completed their TNPromise community service hours at Arnold this weekend, painting and beautifying our school. Thanks for giving back!

Joe Enriquez, owner TNroofCo, our STEM community partner, worked with Beta Club students to build bat houses for our playground area. The kids had a great time! Thanks to Mr. Enriquez and TNRoofCo.

We are on our final week of our PTO led March Madness! This week will be a special spirit wear sale! This sale will be 3/24 through 3/31 at midnight. The weekly winners and overall champions will be announced on Tuesday, April 2nd.

Arnold’s 3rd Quarter Rodeo Celebration featured very special guests from our system’s high school: The Cleveland Blue Raiders Boys Basketball Team. Coach Tucker and his players put on a basketball show that our students will always remember.  The high school Raiders even brought several of our Arnold players on the court to join in the action.  The students even witnessed a 3 point contest between a player and our PE coach, Mrs. Murray.  We ended the assembly with our traditional Rodeo accolades: Arnold Way Students, Perfect Attendance, and the 3rd Quarter’s Ranch Reward winner, the Honor Ranch. Arnold would like to thank Coach Tucker and his players for making today’s Rodeo special.

FREE for any current 2nd-8th grader Throughout the Spring, CMS Head Football Coach, Martez Barber & his staff will be hosting football training/workouts for any interested athlete wanting to learn more about the game of football. Held on the turf at Cleveland High School. 

We will see everyone back bright and early Monday for Doughnuts for Grownups! You will be able to spend some quality breakfast time with your student before sending them to class. Please remember that breakfast ends at 8:20am, so plan to get to school a little early that day!
