Our motto is Love. Learn. Lead. We are so proud of our students for leading the community in helping our local food bank @caring_place_tn
S/O to Southern Heritage Bank, @miranda_whittington and the Student Leadership team for coordinating this event. We collected 2,734 food items! #gobulldogs🐾🐶❤️ #grsloveyourpeople
It’s easy to focus on the negative, so we are fostering a sense of gratitude at #theGRS this week. #gratitudechangesyourattitude @iheartckh #grsloveyourpeople
Last month, permission forms for students’ flu shots were sent home and returned. If you submitted a form for your child, the shots will be administered tomorrow afternoon.
When people ask me what I love about Stuart, one of the reasons has to be our community. S/O to Lee University and Mathew’s Table for the personal notes and Stuart PTO for the SonicDrive drinks. These gifts have been much needed this week. Thank you for supporting our staff, students and school! #buildingcommunities
Signed, #agratefulprincipal
#NationalSTEMDay2021 is next Monday, but we couldn’t wait… so we celebrated today! S/O to Amy Vaughn for coordinating this event and finding connections to some of the class’ language arts lessons. Students were able to #collaborate #create #communicate and use #criticalthinking
#learningisfun

Happy Halloween from Stuart! Our students have been discussing how literature can come in many forms and genres… poetry, film/media, fiction, nonfiction, etc. Here’s a peek at some of the costumes we saw yesterday from #moviecharacterday (Note: staff were given the opportunity to remove masks for photos, briefly.)
This weekend is one of Stuart’s Papa John’s weekends! Get a discount on your pizza AND support our school! If you order online at papajohnscom, use the code STUART20 for a 20% savings. Thank you in advance for helping out your school! 🍕🐶🐾❤️
Mrs. Ellis’ class is preparing for their test on the human body. Instead of sitting and filling in the blanks on a review sheet, they were up walking from card to card answering each question. #keepingkiddosmoving #cklaamplify #scienceinliteracy
Fall is here, so this weekend was the perfect time for #StuartsPumpkinPalooza
S/O to the Magnolia Garden Club Elder's Ace Hardware (Cleveland) and Cleveland High School’s Culinary class for providing the pumpkins, muffins and helping the students decorate. Also, thank you to all the families who came out for the fall fun in our garden. #BuildingCommunityTogether
Fridays are #STEMchallenge days in library. These students met the challenge with the tallest or most unique products in their groups. (Note: masks were pulled down to take photos)
Join us as we celebrate the 50th day of school on Oct. 20th. Staff and students may dress in retro from the 1950’s.
There are many factors that make Stuart an awesome place to work and learn, but one of the HUGE ones is our PTO! Thank you for lunch from the FoodNV truck #yumyum #feelingappreciatedandloved❤️
The Stuart Garden has been a busy place this week. Our kinders used their senses to explore and record observations. Then, 1st grade grouped pumpkin seeds in sets of ten to count larger numbers. #exploratorylearning #stuartgarden
(Note: Since students are outside, masks may be removed.)
