Melissa Bishop currently serves as Principal of Yates Primary School. Melissa Bishop has worked within Cleveland City Schools for 20 years.

Since 2010, Melissa has served as an Instructional Specialist, where she has successfully coordinated K-12 instructional and RTI facilitators, overseeing the district's K-12 RTI program. Her expertise and leadership have contributed significantly to the success of the district's instructional initiatives.

Melissa Bishop holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, where she excelled academically. She later returned to her alma mater, the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, to pursue her Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction. Additionally, Melissa obtained a degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Lincoln Memorial University.

Casey Price

Casey Price is the assistant principal of Yates Primary School. He previously served as one of the assistant principals at Blythe-Bower Elementary School. He pursued his education at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, earning a Bachelor's degree in Education with a focus on History. Additionally, he furthered his studies at Lee University, where he obtained a Master's in Education, an Ed.S in curriculum and instruction, and completed the Administrator add-on program.

Casey has dedicated his career to education and is now starting his 25th year in Cleveland City Schools, with a cumulative experience of 26 years in the field of education. His journey at Blythe-Bower Elementary School began as an Assistant Principal seven years ago, precisely in 2017. Throughout his tenure, Casey has shown dedication and passion for providing a supportive and enriching learning environment for the students, teachers, and staff at the school. His experience and expertise make him a valuable asset to the Blythe-Bower Elementary School community.
