Cleveland City Schools is proud to announce the appointment of Mr. Randy Stephens as its next Supervisor of Career and Technical Education. Mr. Stephens’ extensive experience as a Principal, CTE educator, and his time in the business field make him the perfect choice to lead Cleveland City Schools CTE Department into its next chapter.

Having served as a Principal for Cleveland City Schools since 2008, Mr. Stephens has significant experience leading a school building after having served both George R. Stuart and Mayfield Elementary Schools in that capacity. These fifteen years of leadership experience set Mr. Stephens apart as a leader with expertise in both the education and business world.

"It is my privilege to step into the role of Career and Technical Education Supervisor for Cleveland City Schools. This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with educators, industry partners, and the community to cultivate innovative programs that prepare students for successful futures. I am excited to bring my passion for education and leadership to this impactful area.” said Mr. Stephens.

Additionally, Mr. Stephens has previously served as an Assistant Principal at Cleveland Middle School and spent nine years teaching Business at Cleveland High School. Further, Mr. Stephens also has experience in the business world. Prior to his time teaching at Cleveland High School, Mr. Stephens worked for several years in accounting for both Sam’s Club and Lowe’s Building Supply.
