We are so appreciative of the work these ladies do in our cafeteria to keep our students fed!
Come one, Come all! Interested in Cleveland High School? Thursday Night we open our doors to you! We want you to leisurely walk our East Wing Hall and Arena area to visit with our teachers, coaches, program directors and admin. This is a come and go event from 5:00-7:00.
Our hardworking yearbook team hosted a pizza gathering for potential yearbook candidates for next year. We are always grateful for the memories they capture and the work they do!
Our teachers inspire students every single day. These 5 teachers were nominated by their students & are our teachers of the month! The work they do does not go unnoticed. CHS teachers are the BEST! Congratulations, Mrs. Parker, Mrs. Congdon, Ms.McCroskey, Mr. Felton, & Mr. Atha!
A long snowcation can't keep us from celebrating our students. CHS Teachers nominate deserving students of the month in each grade based on our motto of Work Hard, Get Smart, and Be Nice. Congratulations to these 12 students!
Are you tired of being cooped up in the house?! Get up and out to see the CHS's 10th Annual Performance Showcase including the State One-Act, Voices (a student written play), Broadway songs, Short Scenes, and Monologues. Admission at the door is $5.00.
We are excited to host families who are interested in Cleveland High School on Thursday, Jan 25. Our doors will open at 5:00pm. Take a leisurely stroll through our East Wing halls to visit with our teachers, coaches, admin and program directors. The Lady Raider Wrestling team sent their second team to a varsity tournament at St. Andrews Sewanee. They walked away with 3 champions, 5 finalists, 12 medalists, and were tournament champions. Way to go, LRW!
Congratulations to our boys wrestling team on a 62-3 victory over crosstown rival Bradley Central 🙌🏻
We would like to thank The Flooring Center for their generous donation to Cleveland Athletics and our swim team. They graciously donated carpet for the swimmers to walk in the hallways at the Denning Center.
CHS alumni and former Leadworthy student, Jax Lambert, spent the day pouring into Leadworthy students. As an ambassador for the UTK, Jax spoke about important post secondary topics and gave valuable advice. He credits a lot of the work he does to taking Leadworthy at CHS.
Next week is our Winter Court! We are celebrating with a few dress up days. Start planning your outfits now! It's going to be epic!
Congratulations to our Lady Raiders named to the All State Volleyball Team: Gunny Brock, Kinslee McGowan, and Lauren Hurst.
It's senior night at the Jones Wrestling Center! Thank you ladies for all you've done for our Lady Raider wrestling program.
Cleveland's very own Lauren Hurst is not just a two-time volleyball state champion and MVP, but she is also a two-time recipient of the Gatorade Player of the Year Award. She is a finalist for the National Gatorade Player of the Year, too! It's a great day to be a Raider!
Today our faculty was together for Professional Development led by our own teammates. It was incredible and inspiring! It's a GREAT day to be a RAIDER.
Basketball is home this Friday against WVHS. Make plans to attend! Elementary students are admitted free.
