Cleveland City Schools collaborates closely with the Cleveland Police Department to provide a safe and secure educational environment for its students and staff members across the district. This partnership is exemplified through the deployment of 11 highly trained School Resource Officers (SROs) from the Cleveland Police Department. Each elementary school is assigned a dedicated SRO, while both Cleveland Middle and Cleveland High School benefit from the presence of two SROs. These highly trained and dedicated SROs play a vital role in fostering positive relationships and promoting a sense of security among students, teachers and parents.
