The Interpretation and Translation Department at Cleveland City Schools is committed to facilitating effective communication, family involvement, and participation in NELB students' education. The department coordinates language services with school-level translators and administrators, connects NELB families to community resources, and strengthens partnerships to expand opportunities for NELB students. They assist in post-secondary exploration, translate and maintain important system-level forms, schedule interpreters for events, and serve as a resource to NELB families. Additionally, the department promotes technology integration and provides recorded phone messages to ensure timely communication.
