Cleveland City Schools has been named an Arts Partner School system by the Tennessee Arts Academy based on our commitment and belief in the significance of arts education in our schools.

Requests for Additional Positions The Cleveland City Board of Education has granted approval for the following roles during the remainder of the 2023-2024 academic year, in response to a rise in student enrollment.

Part-Time Community Engagement Coordinator, Cleveland Middle School
Teacher, Arnold Memorial Elementary (if needed)
Site Committee Update
A contract has been granted for the renovations of the new administrative office building at a cost of $1.4 million. The project is set to start in January 2024 with an anticipated completion date of July 2024. Additionally, the Cleveland City Board of Education voted to allocate $2.9 million to expand Candyโs Creek Cherokee Elementary School by adding 6 extra classrooms. The expected timeline for this expansion is set to take place from June 2024 to January 2025. We plan to release additional information to our families and the community this afternoon.
2025-2026 School Calendar
School board members approved the final draft of the 2025-2026 school calendar.
