Facilities Committee Update

  • Board members voted to take the proposal on the need for a new school to the city council, following the development of over 5,000 residences, which was approved by the city council. This development could add 2,000 new students.

  • In addition, the Board voted to approve the finances needed for repairs following the power outage at Ross Elementary School.

  • The Board voted to allow Yates Primary to build a walking garden, named after Carolyn Ingram.
