Facilities Committee Update
Board members voted to take the proposal on the need for a new school to the city council, following the development of over 5,000 residences, which was approved by the city council. This development could add 2,000 new students.
In addition, the Board voted to approve the finances needed for repairs following the power outage at Ross Elementary School.
The Board voted to allow Yates Primary to build a walking garden, named after Carolyn Ingram.

Last night, Principal Nat Akiona shared some spotlights from Cleveland Middle School.
Our Lady Raiders Basketball Team following their run to the semifinals in the state tournament.
Board members recognized the Novice Teachers of the Year in Cleveland City Schools.
Strategic Plan Focus - Student Information Services
Michael Kahrs, Director of Student Information Services, shared a presentation with updates from the Student Information Services’ Strategic Plan.
Schedule Change - Cleveland High School
Last night, Principal Bob Pritchard shared a modified block schedule for the 2024-2025 school year.
Summer School Programs
Adam Moss, Learning Acceleration Program Coordinator, shared a presentation for the upcoming Summer Academic Programs.
