Cleveland Middle School invites the community to a special event unveiling its new mural on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the school. This mural represents the school’s commitment to fostering a global perspective and celebrating the connections that unite students.
The mural’s motto, “We are Cleveland, and the World Walks Our Halls,” reflects the rich backgrounds and shared experiences of Cleveland Middle School students. It serves as a reminder of how education brings people together, creating meaningful connections across cultures and communities.
Principal Nat Akiona shared his enthusiasm for the project:
“This mural highlights the incredible connections our students have to the world through their peers, their experiences, and their learning. We are excited to celebrate this milestone and welcome the community to join us for the unveiling.”
The creation of this mural was made possible through the generous support of Matthew Coleman, Logan-Thompson Law Firm, First Baptist, Westwood Baptist, and Cleveland High School’s Best Partner, First Horizon Bank. Their contributions helped bring this meaningful project to life, ensuring it stands as a lasting symbol of unity and global awareness.
