Cleveland City Schools is excited to welcome the next generation of learners! Families with children who will turn five years old on or before August 15, 2025, are invited to begin the Kindergarten enrollment and registration process for the 2025-2026 school year.
Kindergarten registration officially kicks off with an in-person event on Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Raider Arena on the campus of Cleveland High School, located at 850 Raider Drive. Families are encouraged to attend during their school’s preferred time slot, although flexibility will be offered.
📍 Registration Times by School:
Stuart Elementary: 8:00 – 9:00 AM
Yates Primary: 8:45 – 10:15 AM
Candy's Creek Cherokee Elementary: 10:00 – 11:30 AM
Blythe-Bower Elementary: 12:00 – 1:30 PM
Mayfield Elementary: 1:00 – 2:30 PM
Arnold Memorial Elementary: 2:00 – 3:00 PM
📄 Families should bring the following documents:
Birth certificate or proof of birth
Tennessee immunization record
Proof of address (such as a recent utility bill, lease agreement, or mortgage statement)
Before the first day of school, all students must also submit:
A medical examination dated after January 1, 2025
A permanent Tennessee immunization record, including:
2 MMR
3 Hepatitis B
2 Hepatitis A
5 DPT (including one after the 4th birthday)
4 Polio
2 Chickenpox (or documentation of illness)
🎓 Already enrolled in a CCS Pre-K? You don’t need to complete the online form but should still attend the event for Kindergarten screening.
💻 Online Enrollment Opens March 24
Beginning March 24, 2025, families may complete the Kindergarten Enrollment Form online. Links will be available in both English and Spanish on the Cleveland City Schools website.
