In March, the club is planning a service work day at SPCA and will continue to do our monthly School Beautification projects," Aileen Creel said. "These students show Raider pride as they excel academically and become the next generation of leaders!"
Cleveland High School
This year the Beta Club has two brand new sponsors that heard members' pleas to participate in the State Convention. The members quickly sprang into action to select 11 events they would compete in!
AWARDS: The Club had placements in two competitions, Kennin Featherngill was Top 8 in Spelling Bee, and Natalie Clark was Top 5 in the 10th Grade Science Academic tests.
"This is the first time the club has participated in a convention in many years and the members that participated in person came back excited about next year already planning their attack on the competitions they want to enter," Destinee Joiner said. "We look forward to seeing the club's accomplishments grow!"
Students placed in the Top 5 at Convention will now advance on to the next level this summer in Louisville, Kentucky to compete at the National Level!
We are very proud and excited for our students!
